This Chronic’s Review 
I was given the ARC for my honest opinion and all I can say is, "Wow!" This debut novel has everything a lover of contemporary romance can want. Breaking Kate is the story of a group of friends, their inter-relationships, and the love they share. Now, I know that sounds more like a "fetish" set up, but nothing could be further from the truth. Two girls and one boy grew up together. One pairs off with the boy, but all remain the best of friends; until one fateful night changes all of their lives forever. As they mature, the girls soldier on, but the now young man's life spirals out of control. While in college, the girls find a solid, handsome-as-sin, friend who has three best friends of his own, and then the REAL story begins.
Breaking Kate is heartwarming and heartbreaking. It is well written, with realistic characters whom I can envision meeting on any college campus. The sensuous, steamy, sex will have readers hearts beating faster! This is the first book in the series and I am very much looking forward to continuing the journey with Ms. Kelly's characters.
