Book: Under Contract
Author: Jacquelyn Ayres
Genre: Erotic Romance/Erotic Humor
Run - don’t walk - to your computers or bookstores and grab your copy of this book. It is smart, sexy, hilarious, and poignant all rolled up into one roller coaster ride that I’ll be taking again and again. The language is smart, the characters are too, and the absolutely hilarious, laugh-out-loud text messages between Mitch and Charlotte had me laughing so hard my neighbor wanted to know what I was reading! I love these characters! They are flawed, have issues - both physical and mental (don’t we all). There is a special needs child who signs (I can’t tell you how refreshing that was - that there were deaf characters in the book) and one struggling with MS. I could not put the book down and had to read it again, just to see if I laughed in the same spots. I did - harder and longer. There’s one spot that I was laughing so hard I had to run to the bathroom before I — well, you get the idea.
Come meet Charlotte and Mitch, their families; and enjoy a book that will make you laugh, cry and orgasm! I don’t think I’ve been this excited about the beginning of a series all year! Yes, it is THAT good! Forget 5 stars, or ten - try 20! This one is over-the-moon-good! You bet your ass that I will be snatching up a copy of Book 2 in the GEG - Green-Eyed Girls - “In The Mix”!
I am a domestic engineer (born and raised in NJ) whose sole responsibility is to guide three young, impressionable kids into becoming phenomenal adults. This challenging yet rewarding work requires a lot of love (coffee), patience (wine), and determination (periodic exorcisms). I work this magic from the beautiful state of New Hampshire.
Before becoming a domestic goddess (not really), I spent over a decade in the medical field, where I wore more hats than the Queen.
I have loved the written word and the great escape it provides since I was a little girl. When I wasn't reading about people and the places they lived, I was creating my own characters and adventures.
Finding myself again through my writing in The Lost & Found Series, The One, and The GEG Series has been nothing short of a dream come true. Also, it makes people feel better when I laugh randomly or talk to myself, knowing it's my characters and not "the voices" . . . that would be creepy.
